With Passover quickly approaching, it got us thinking about gefilte fish. 7 Seas Fish Market has been mincing fish for holidays such as Passover for the past 25+ years. This year, our friends Susy and Eran at Nava Creative Kosher Cuisine kindly shared a Gefilte Fish Ring recipe, which we adapted to make our very own version for the store! Enjoy!
(makes 30 fishcakes)
Ingredients
Directions
- Preheat oven to 325° F.
- Finely process carrots and dill.
- Chop onions and mix with fish, eggs, water, matzah, and seasonings on medium speed for 15 minutes.
- Fold in carrots.
- Spread mixture in sprayed 10” Bundt pan.
- Place Bundt pan in 1” of hot water.
- Bake uncovered for 1 hour.
- Cover loosely and bake for 1.5 hours until done.
- Let cool for 20 minutes and unmold.
- When completely cool, cover and refrigerate.
- Garnish with tomato and cucumber.
